A strong class of adhesive, epoxy glues are well adapted to work on hard-to-glue surfaces like many plastics, glass, metal and concrete. Epoxy cures by chemical reaction rather than by drying or by the evaporation of solvents as with solvent cements.
Gluing with epoxy can get quite messy since two parts have to be mixed together to start the chemical process going. One part is a resin and the other a hardener that activates the resin and causes it to cure and harden.
